Following the launch of A Vision to Zero, To Zero has partnered with International Futures Forum (IFF) to create a Visioning Toolkit that helps organizations, communities, and individuals map their current landscape, imagine a better future for children, and identify practical pathways toward a world free from childhood sexual violence.
Background
To Zero was setup to support the global community of practitioners, advocates, campaigners, and researchers tackling childhood sexual violence. A central part of our work has been to help groups, individuals, and organisations align around a shared vision for the future — and to work together to bring it about.
Our visioning process engaged over 330 stakeholders across the sector through numerous online sessions and 12 in-person workshops. Together, we created a map of the landscape as seen from within the field, a shared vision of a safe and healthy world for all children free from the threat of sexual violence, and identified promising routes toward realising that vision in practice.
The resulting report, A Vision To Zero, sparked strong interest from organisations, groups and communities eager to explore similar conversations in their own places and contexts. In partnership with International Futures Forum (IFF), To Zero has created a Visioning Toolkit to enable that work, with resources and support to help you:
make sense of the current landscape;
imagine a better future for children; and
identify practical pathways towards that future.
The Toolkit
The Visioning Toolkit has three core elements:
1. Practical Guide
A comprehensive, step-by-step guide with clear instructions for running these processes at any scale and in any setting. Inside you'll find methods for facilitating conversations, synthesizing input, creating landscape maps, and trauma-informed facilitation practices.
2. Online Platform
A dedicated space on Mighty Networks with templates, worksheets, examples, and Mural boards for online collaboration. The platform also provides chat functions for peer support, private workspaces for your initiative, and direct access to the IFF support team.
3. Specialist Support
Connect with a growing community of practitioners who share insights, challenges, and solutions. The platform enables peer-to-peer learning while the IFF team provides expert guidance through the integrated chat.
Who Is This For?
This toolkit is for anyone committed to ending childhood sexual violence—whether you're part of an organization, community group, coalition, advocacy campaign, or research initiative. Whether you're working within a single organization, across a local community, or coordinating international efforts, these processes adapt to your context and scale.
Ready to begin?
Whether you're working with a small team or convening a large-scale initiative, these processes will strengthen your effectiveness and connect you with a global community committed to creating a world free from childhood sexual violence.
Together, with these resources and your commitment, we can help grow a thriving international community of mutual support and effective future-facing practice in service of a world free from childhood sexual violence.
